The United States, 2006. A top view blueprint drawing of the US Bush Administration, taken from a news photograph, maps out and analyzes the essence of scene. Within the duration of the 4 week exhibit, the blueprint drawing, exposed to direct sunlight will begin to fade away.

all that bright morning scattered consists of three layers: A back layer of a painting of three female figures on acetate, a front layer of a line drawing on mylar and, in between, a layer of fine blond hair. This fits within the frame of the window and is backlit by the almighty sun.

Light Does not Bend- A film of a drawn interpretation of Isaac Newtons book “Optiks”.

The table is filled with set pieces (rekvisita) that are used in the film. One can use and discover the objects and their scale, size and microscopic relationship to each other, in a way that Newton used basic material to understand more universal questions of shape, time and movement through space.

Katie Merz lives in New York and can’t speak very well so she must draw everything.

Marks of Damascus

MarksOfDamascus2Marks of Damascus The work consists of twelve round solar-glass mirrors from 10-120 cm. Nine of the mirrors have holes and all the mirrors are printed with symbols in different colors. There are lights on the mirrors so that both light and shadow reflects into the mill.

Katja Kristensen Serber is an artist with a focus on both artwork and the interactive artistic process. She has exhibited in Denmark, Sweden, UAE and Syria.

The Man who Burned down Mills

The Man who Burned down Mills is an anamorphosic narrative that takes place at several locations in the mill. The story is based on the movie “Mannen från Veberöd” (The Man from Veberöd) by Max Lundgren. The Movie is based on a true story that took place 100 years ago in areas not far from Lövestad.
